Message :truly good imaging and proper soundstage or are you just after brightness and stealth. Seems like all the advice I'm reading has to do with stealth being the main focal point. It's amazing how these same people can be so anal in how you go about fixing and treating Z's but then give advice that totally contradicts the professional car audio community. If your TRULY worried about proper image placement and producing a PROPER soundstage then you need to research this in sources that provide scientifically backed up priciples.

i needed that... hahahaha
cant really enjoy a stereo thats been stolen, eh?

:All you have to do is ask the members here how they would set up their gain structure or measure the transfer function of their car. I can almost garauntee that most would say A) by ear B) don't know. I'm not saying I know it all but I have been into car audio for about 14 years and have done a lot of research and know some of the top people in the industry.

Do what you want but never say you weren't warned.
hahahahahahaha... again, you're helping me through the day...
warned about what? it sounding really damn good versus really really damn good?
A stereo is 150% by ear. (period). I could tune my stereo a specific way that sounds great to me (and it does), but my friend david says it sounds like shit. Weird, cause it sounds perfect for the aural experience I prefer.

Your not all that high and mighty Mr Professional. Car audio sound quality is 100% subjective. Preventing installations that stick out and are gank friendly is not subjective. See my sig.
